RESULTS The advantage of using biogas as an energy source is not only the generation of energy, but also a possible solution for problems regarding the management of vinasse, urban and livestock manure in Brazil. It must be noted however, that biogas is a CO 2 neutral energy source. For example, Russia alone annually produces 773 million tons of such waste, from which it is possible to obtain about 66 billion m 3 of biogas. Deforestation is the result of trees being cut down and used as fuel for fires in areas where there is no access to electricity. India is moving towards non conventional sources of energy like biogas due to the shortage of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum, etc. It is observed that this process is applicable for removal of low to high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide. Normally, biogas is produced from sources like agro-wastes, household wastes and biological sources such as algae at domestic level using small bio-digesters and biogas plants. Biogas is a renewable energy source and can be produced from organic wastes in anaerobic digesters or collected from landfills. The construction and maintenance costs of the designed system will be lower than that of a membrane system, no need for high pressure units, no need for expensive membrane (changeable yearly) The aim of this study was to demonstrate the stability and robustness of PID control in an anoxic biotrickling filter. Unsustainable use of fuelwood adds carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. As the catalyst loading is increased, the oxidation rate of Fe2+ is also increased. It must be noted however, that biogas is a CO 2 neutral energy source. Biogas composition is primarily methane gas with varying fractions of other gases including: Depending on the process used for biogas generation, the biogas energy content (primarily methane) will vary slightly. In recent years, there has been a slow but steady shift towards the integration of renewable energy in powering homes, businesses, and industries. The CO 2 concentration in the clean gas can be greatly influenced by the packing height, whereas for the H 2S concentration in the clean gas the packing height plays a minor role. It is already added to the pipelines for natural gas distribution of household purposes. This organic matter can be subjected to controlled decomposition to yield good quantities of biomethane. What is Biogas Biogas is produced from various biomass sources through a biochemical process, such as anaerobic digestion, or through thermochemical means, such as gasification. The data shows that the hydrogen sulfide in the biogas was effectively reduced from 2,000 ppm to less than 20 ppm. Biogas desulfurization is necessary for its exploitation and for environmental reasons (avoiding SOx generation). Consider how biogas is sourced, as well as its applications in powering diverse business endeavors in the U.S. Biogas (also called renewable natural gas) refers to the useful gaseous products of the degradation of organic plant and animal wastes, and other sources of degradable carbon compounds like paper and wood. wood logs), some people use the terms biomass and biofuel interchangeably. The outlet H2S concentration was the control variable (CV) and the nitrate flow rate was the manipulated variable (MV). Renewable energy growth has surged significantly in China, Europe, and the US. Various sources estimate approximately 100 manure-based AD projects are co-digesting other organic waste materials. Biogas is a source of income; For those nations that struggle to provide employment for all of its people, the production of biogas can be the answer. The increasing interest in the recuperation of the biogas coming from organic residues, associated with its energetic use is a subject that has been widely discussed. The limitations of current redox processes are their high chemical costs, quality of sulphur and problems in directly treating high-pressure gases. Results indicate that biological technologies are much more favorable in most environmental impact categories than physical-chemical technologies and, as expected, are more favorable than the non-treatment scenario. A biogas project can be highly specialized, using one or more carbon sources, or designed as an integrated, multi-purpose system accepting and processing multiple materials for a range of energy applications. This energy generation method uses accumulated wastes from domestic activities to develop biogas. What Is a Coriolis Flow Meter in O&G, and How Does It Work? The treatment process is composed of a gas/liquid contact tower and an aeration tank. Biogas is produced in the biogas plants. In addition to sunlight, water and wind, biogas is a regenerative source of energy that contributes to saving fossil resources. Manure from poultry, cattle, and pigs are all good examples of this waste. What Is Biofuel? The modification of the electron acceptor led to a reduction in the diversity and increased the dominance of the microbial populations. From data obtained in the systems developed along the project we will be able to optimize industrial treatment systems using both economical and ecological criteria in the treatment of real effluents with the collaboration of two companies interested in the project.
